The most common response to my email, "Thumbs Up!  Dave and Mary Conrad" is this:  "So what happened?"  Other respondents have asked, "What is this all about?"  Still others have written enlightened responses that shed light on putting a stop to modern tyranny, which I will soon share.

Often emails are missed (on my end and yours), so that when a response is made to a former email, readers sometimes wonder what is going on.  To keep updated, and to better understand the background of the Conrad case, please see www.danielinthelionsden.us

Thank you for taking the time to read about this most important development in our midst.  It is of the utmost importance that we learn and participate.

For those who may not have read about my experience as a guest in a Manti courtroom last Tuesday, here it is:

Commentary on Baby Daniel's 7-15-08 Court Proceedings

I personally want to thank those of you who came to support the Conrad family in Manti on Tuesday.  It is my belief that to "mourn with those that mourn and comfort those who stand in need of comfort" certainly includes doing what Christ would do to assist those on the firing line in the very unpopular and uncomfortable battle for personal liberty.

Anyone who has not been inside a courtroom lately may have found it to be an unnerving experience.  For those of us who understand the system, it was uncomfortable, but not unexpected.  Actually, it was disturbing.

I will never get used to the abuse that people in power and authority, seemingly without conscience, inflict upon their victims.  Truly, "We have learned by sad experience that it is the nature and disposition of almost all men, as soon as they get a little authority, as they suppose, they will immediately begin to exercise unrighteous dominion".

Unrighteous dominion equals abuse!!

Those who witnessed the proceedings in the Court House in Manti on Tuesday were witnesses to this abuse in full.  The judge, Paul Lyman, in my opinion exhibited behavior that was the epitome of arrogance, rudeness, intimidation, unrighteousness, and dishonesty.  It was nothing short of disgusting and he should be removed from the bench.  Justice, or "that which is right", was clearly absent.

The Lord has something to say to such people:

"Cursed are all those that shall lift up the heel against mine anointed, saith the Lord, and cry they have sinned when they have not sinned before me, saith the Lord, but have done that which was meet in mine eyes, and which I commanded them.

"But those who cry transgression do it because they are the servants of sin, and are the children of disobedience themselves.  And those who swear falsely against my servants, that they might bring them into bondage and death--Wo to them; because they have offended my little ones they shall be severed from the ordinances of mine house.  Their basket shall not be full, their houses and their barns shall perish, and they themselves shall be despised by those that flattered them."

Alarmingly, such destructive behavior has become institutionalized in the godless, socialist system that Judge Lyman has embraced.  This kind of abuse is routinely perpetrated in America today upon valiant fathers and mothers doing their very best to carry out their divinely-appointed stewardship as parents.  It occurs daily in hundreds of courtrooms throughout our country.  It must be recognized as abuse and stopped

The judge often interrupted Dr. Conrad, repeatedly using the phrases, "in Daniel's best interest" and "in the interest of the child".  Nothing could be farther from the truth!  His actions were clearly done to promote his own "best interest" and the perpetuation of the system he represents.

In stark contrast...

I felt so pleased with David and Mary Conrad and their precious baby Daniel!  They handled the extremely difficult situation, the constant abuse dished out by Judge Lyman, with the calm assurance of people who know they are on the Lord's errand (Daniel included).  David and Mary did not back down in the face of oppression!  And believe me, the pressure to do so was tremendous.

Throughout the grueling hour they were polite, well prepared, and quietly assertive.  They held their ground with dignity.  It was abundantly evident that they have fully accepted the responsibility and burden of the defense of their divine stewardship as PARENTS under GOD.  Congratulations Dave and Mary for a job well done!  What a great example you set for your brave daughter Whitney, who was also a witness to the awful proceedings, and for all in attendance.

Yes, THUMBS UP Dave and Mary Conrad!  Thumbs up to you and to your behind-the scenes true friend Tom Rodgers.  God bless you with His continued strength, guidance, and deliverance, and with the support and love of all freedom-loving patriots everywhere, on earth and in heaven.

Lovin' liberty,

Susan

~~~
Dear friends, as we grow in our strength, ability, and faith to throw off tyranny, let us remember that where light shines darkness cannot exist.  When we tell the truth; when we raise our voices in the wisdom of God's light and power; when we find within the courage to "proclaim liberty throughout the land"-- then our Heavenly Father will fight with us and deliver us from bondage!
I am among the first of the "Baby Boomers".  My mother used to watch German war movies.  As a very young child I saw how the Jews hid and were hunted, and it filled me with terror.  As I listened I often wondered, "Why do they let it happen?!  Why don't they fight!  Why don't they speak up!!?  Why don't they STOP them?!!"  Such things were unthinkable in America then.  However, much has changed.  Sadly, everything I as a young child associated with Nazism, communism and despotism has come to be, or is now in place to be, a part of our beloved American way of life.
But what is most distressing of all is that we, as a people, don't see it in our midst.  We don't see it any more than the Jews saw it coming.  But think about this:  Once the gallows are built and the noose is around your neck, isn't it a little late to fight??
Well, the gallows are built, the rope has been manufactured in great quantity, and now nooses are being mass-produced.  Just because they're primarily out of sight doesn't mean they don't exist!  How long are we going to wait before we start speaking the truth and fighting with our pens and voices in behalf of God's gift of personal liberty?
We don't have to shout, but we do have to shine!  We must fulfill the commandment to let our light so shine that others may see our good works [our willingness to defend the principle of moral agency] and glorify our Father in heaven!
Please go to www.danielinthelionsden.us and read.  Then act:  Inform someone else.
"Therefore, that we should waste and wear out our lives in bringing to light all the hidden things of darkness, wherein we know them....These should then be attended to with great earnestness.  Let no man count them as small things...."
Lovin' liberty,
Susan
